Ein postmigrantisches Road-Movie am Ran- de Europas. Die Familie der Filmemacherin stammt aus der Vojvodina im Norden von Serbien.
Die Familie gehört der ungarischen Minderheit an und emigrierte in den 1980er Jahren nach Deutschland.
Anna Ilin durchfährt die Landschafen des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens und fragt sich, welche Verbindung ihre noch ungeborene Tochter zu dieser Geographie einmal haben wird. Eine persönliche und gleichzeitig universelle Geschichte über Vertrautheit und Entfremdung und die zweideutige Erfahrung Teil von etwas sein zu wollen, dass sich einem teilweise versperrt.

A post-migrant road movie on the edge of Europe. The filmmaker's family comes from Vojvodina, in northern Serbia. They belong to the Hungarian minority and emigrated to Germany in the 1980s.
Anna Ilin travels through the landscapes of the former Yugoslavia, wondering what kind of connection her unborn daughter will one day have to this geography. A personal yet universal story about familiarity and alienation—and the ambiguous experience of wanting to belong to something that, in part, remains inaccessible.
